        Verdict

        LORD JIM was on a mark of 78 when scoring at Bellewstown in July but hasn't done as well since though he's 6lb lower and could be the one to beat in a tight handicap. He was just behind Gun Shoot in a Gowran claimer last time but is greatly favoured by the weights here. Brinestine has only been raised 3lb for making all at Navan and has to be considered along with Daigreen, who has twice found a mile too short after completing a double over this trip at Ballinrobe. California Rose looks the main threat as she scored twice over a mile in mid-summer and has been given a break since finding 7f just too short at Gowran.
