In depth

Verdict

AMOUR FOU was attempting to concede La Canaada 20lb when runner-up over 5f at Navan last week and though this is a much better class event she's in very good form and can go one better. Wave is the fly in the ointment as she is having her first start since winning at Dundalk almost a year ago. Joe Eile was beaten under a length by today's rival Kateeva here in August but has done better of the pair subsequently and was in front of Stones Peak when they occupied the places behind Bubbly Bellini here last month. Kanes Pass has been going well on heavy ground without quite getting there and is 11lb higher than when last successful.
