Just six entries here but only Perseverent Pete hasn't won and looks out of it. Dark Emerald wasn't far behind the classy Olympic Glory at Goodwood and ran well in the Coventry Stakes before scoring on fast ground over the C&D so he's no forlorn hope but Fat Gary takes a big leap in trip after scoring over 5f at Chester. High Octane attracted some support when making a winning start at Gowran but the form hasn't worked out so this looks between Van Der Neer, who made a very bright start on fast going at Yarmouth, and SEEK AGAIN. The latter gets the vote after beating a huge field in what looked a very strong maiden at Newmarket.
