Verdict

Leo De Fury proved himself very smart last summer before reappearing to land the Group 2 Mooresbridge Stakes impressively here in June. But he couldn't compete with Magical in the Tattersalls Gold Cup and finished a place behind ARMORY (NAP). The latter completed a hat-trick when landing the Group 2 Futurity here last August and all of his subsequent runs have been at the highest level so he looks the one to beat. Numerian is held by Leo De Fury on Moooresbridge form and though Sinawann is improving his form is slightly below that of the selection. The remainder will need to make major progress to take a hand.
