Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won the last six of these, two of them with three-year-olds. Monument Valley looked very progressive in a Ballinrobe maiden though Delphi is Seamie Heffernan's pick. He stepped up to 1m4f to land a Leopardstown Listed contest in all-the-way style and is likely to take some catching, despite the longer trip. SEARCH FOR A SONG beat Kew Gardens to land the Irish St Leger last year and ran a fine race behind Magical over a trip much too short in the Tattersalls Gold Cup. He'll have a pacemaker to ensure a strong gallop and can see off Master Of Reality, four lengths behind him in the classic last year though a brilliant second, subsequently demoted to fourth, in the Melbourne Cup. With that race unlikely to be a target this term he looks a real threat here and in the St Leger. Micro Manage hasn't been seen since landing a 1m4f handicap here last June by 10 lengths but looks an exciting prospect.
