In depth

Verdict

Allagar has run in some strong maidens and only just failed to get up over an extended 5f at Sligo. CHARTERHOUSE, beaten a head by Masen over this trip at Leopardstown, ran a fine race in a Group 3 on a return visit last week and will take some beating on that form. Trusted Ally made a very good impression on his debut at Limerick and may not have enjoyed soft ground at Galway next time while Kalu Pande is by The Gurkha out of an unraced Pivotal mare and A Taad Moody is a half-sister to no less than 10 winners, many of them at this trip. Notoriously Risky is a half-sister to a winner at this trip but Feeling Tip Top was cheaply bought though Shane Foley chooses her over Baron Wild. Iron Sheriff and The Last Knight have both shown enough to suggest they can get competitive.
