In depth

Verdict

The Irish Lincoln winner STUCCODOR deserves another crack at this level and is likely to be even better over today's longer trip. He can make his fitness count against Alive Alive Oh, who ran no sort of race in the Group 2 Blandford Stakes here in September after looking useful when landing a Listed contest at Navan in May. Inis Meain landed a Listed contest at Limerick and was placed at this level several times. He's another with a fitness advantage having scored over hurdles in February. He was beaten into second in this a year ago by the 2011 Dewhurst winner Parish Hall, who went on to land a Group 3 at Dundalk in October for which his penalty might just prove too much. Tarana has only run twice and has obviously had her problems but she's looked very useful when getting to the track and could have a good season.
