Verdict

Custom Cut produced a shock victory in this a year ago when trained by George Kent. Now with David O'Meara, he ran really well on his reappearance in the Doncaster Mile but has a penalty here as does SRUTHAN though it's the latter who earns the vote. Unraced as a juvenile, he began last season with two victories and ran in three Group 3's before winning one at Tipperary in October where he had Wannabe Better and Bold Thady Quill behind. Cristoforo Colombo has never lived up to his tall reputation and his only victories have been in a maiden and a sprint at Dundalk though he has mainly competed at a higher level.
