Verdict

GABRIELLA'S SPIRIT is two from four this term and can boost those figures further. She's best ridden for a late flourish and remains acceptably treated after a 5lb hike for her Cork win last month. She still seems to be progressing with her racing. Little Queenie was only a neck behind and thus represents an obvious threat along with course and distance winner, Jon Riggens, who came home third and possibly unlucky not to finish closer after a slightly troubled passage. There should be little between the trio on that evidence, and although Running Cool was well beaten that day he's certainly better than that and is another to warrant consideration. Gordon Bennett has only had a couple of runs this term but has a good record here and could well bounce right back to form.
