Jim Bolger won this a year ago with subsequent Irish Derby winner Trading Leather and though PARISH HALL isn't in that sort of class and hasn't progressed as expected from the 2011 Dewhurst he has the quality to see off these rivals, even with his Group 3 penalty. El Salvador is entered in the Gold Cup but didn't look to have the stamina for 2m at Sandown last time and this looks more his trip. Harasiya is the form pick on her third place behind Sky Lantern in the 2012 Moyglare but she only had two runs in her second season and hasn't been seen for almost a year. Ursa Major completed a hat-trick in the summer of 2012 when all three races were on soft ground over longer trips so this looks on the short side. Nonchalant is taking a big leap in class after his Cork maiden victory but Dermot Weld doesn't tilt at windmills so the grey son of Oasis Dream must be respected.
