A competitive maiden considering the four with a handicap mark could have been found easier opportunities. Rated 88, PACK LEADER has the edge on today's terms after a second at Lingfield and gets the vote. Rydan was a close-up fourth in soft ground at Windsor last time and Mount Shamsan steps back up in distance after a length defeat over a mile at Haydock. Carthage disappointed on his latest start but is not out of this either on his earlier placed effort in a handicap. Green Light was still well beaten when runner-up at Sandown though it was soft ground and he may finish closer here.
