Khafaaq got up close home over a mile at Gowran so the drop in trip has to be a concern, as it is for Youceeyouceecee, five-times in a winner over further but well beaten the only time he raced over a trip this short. LITTLE CLARINET (NAP) is on a fair mark nowadays and didn't get the run of the race when a close fourth in a huge field over the track and trip last time.
