Most of these arrive in decent form including Richard Hannon's raider Wedding Date, who wasn't suited by Chester after scoring at York. Empire Lane was in excellent form at Dundalk over the winter before a very good run in a Naas handicap and though he's never raced over the minimum he's certainly not devoid of speed. He was only caught close home over 6f at Naas by Woody Creek and has a big enough weight advantage with the latter to reverse the form. Hammersmith looks held on that latter form but MY LAUREATE dropped down to the minimum for the first time at Navan and could hardly have won more easily in beating Sundance Star. The assessor has had his say with a 15lb higher mark but that was only her sixth start and she can continue on the upgrade.
