Rae Guest knows what it takes to win this having won with Yomalo in 2006. The Newmarket-based handler sends Cape Factor this time, though her latest runs haven't suggested she can win at this level. Iveagh Gardens showed her liking for very testing conditions when surprising Found over 7f here last month, for which she picks up a Group 3 penalty. Unless the going turns really heavy she may struggle for pace here. Stormfly won two Group 3 races over 7f on heavy going at the start of the season and has since found a mile too far, the latest in the 1000 Guineas here. AINIPPE looks more of a natural sprinter than most of these and should be cherry-ripe following her head defeat by Toscanini at Navan under an inexperienced pilot. Colin Keane takes over and she can get back on the winning trail. She had Newsletter three lengths behind here in August, though the latter has made great strides subsequently and scored in Listed company at Nottingham last month.
