Rockaway Valley was a 25/1 chance on his debut here last month but belied those odds with a cracking performance to be beaten narrowly by Ballydoyle's Air Force Blue. He would have won in a few more strides so it will take a big effort to beat him here. AIR VICE MARSHAL, like that winner, is by War Front and cost $2.2m as a yearling which is hardly surprising as he's a half-brother to a Grade 1 winner in the USA. He's entered in all the big juvenile races and can get off to a successful start. Stamp Hill made a decent start on very testing ground at Leopardstown and will improve while Jim Bolger has won this twice in recent years so the Teofilo colt Saafarr is respected, especially as his dam has produced winners with her first two foals. Dermot Weld's Juliette Fair is bred for pace and cost 240,000 euros so she's another to note in an interesting contest.
