Empirico is still progressing though whether he is good enough to defy a 9lbs rise for a narrow victory over 5f at Tipperary is another matter. See You Smile was making her handicap debut when coming with a late run to beat a big field at Navan on Saturday. She is raised 8lbs but is clearly improving fast and can make her presence felt. POLAR EXPLORER had been racing mainly over middle-distances before dropping to the minimum trip at Tipperary in April. He showed that sprinting is his game that day with a convincing success and can take this as he should be even better over today's extra furlong.
