GARRYNCURRA can take this unless there is something special among the newcomers. Paul Nolan's charge made a very encouraging debut in what looked a strong bumper at Navan last month and should have come on enough to take some beating. Arderin hasn't been seen since a fair debut at Listowel in September but looks the type to go well under the in-form Jamie Codd. Watchmetail made a promising debut at Punchestown in October and didn't appreciate more forcing tactics on his next start at Thurles. He can do better while the best of the newcomers may prove to be Zara, a half-sister to the high-class hurdler Asian Maze and several other winners.
