    Verdict

    LORD AVON is difficult to oppose. Bill Turner's charge put Second Encore firmly in her place when scoring over C&D last time and should have no problem taking this with a similar performance. The latter re-opposes on better terms but has plenty of ground to make up, while Sugar Beet won a couple of nurseries last September but was well beaten here on her latest start. Speedy Joe's best effort to date came over 6f on the Fibresand at Southwell and he looks up against it in this company.
