Verdict

CONGO RIVER looked like beating the odds-on Beauty Crescent over the extended 5f track at Navan but was caught in the dying strides. He should go one better though Invincible Cry should improve enough from his run at Dundalk to get competitive. Jer Batt showed very good speed over this trip at Navan while the three newcomers are all speedily-bred with Clever And Cool perhaps the best of them at this stage.
