After improving for an introduction to this trip and ground last time FRANKLY SMART looks the stand-out runner in this Maiden Hurdle while Waltzing Tornado has also improved in a couple of runs this season and Emergency Cover should also feature. A winner between the flags the pick finished third in a big field at Cork last time. That was a career best and more is expected. Waltzing Tornado has looked progressive this term and after placing last time could build on that. Emergency Cover put in his best when fourth on his last outing but that gives him form to overturn on the pick and Maple Court can be considered if lasting the trip. Not an easy end to the card but while Frankly Smart is a little short of that description he should be good enough in win this.
