Rathnaleen Kal finished runner-up at Tipperary with Go Gill Go four lengths behind and Leading The Way a further two lengths back though the latter, who started favourite, reportedly lost a shoe and will have found the two miles too short. ALIUNDE showed his first sign of ability at Punchestown on New Year's Eve and improved further when placed at Downpatrick. Further progress can see him off the mark though Lilian Bland is an obvious danger having chased home the prolific Mighty Jeremy over this track and trip last month.
