Verdict

Stuzzikini got off the mark at Kilbeggan when beating Je T'ai Porte, who runs in the opener. He'd earlier pulled up behind Western Commandor at Down Royal though that wasn't his form. The winner loved the testing conditions and a mark of 116 doesn't look excessive while Estepona Sun was a consistent performer in maiden and novice company on quicker ground last summer. Gentleman Joe unshipped Rachael at the Punchestown Festival but is the type to do better though the vote goes to WASTHATOK, an impressive maiden winner at Kilbeggan.
