In depth

Verdict

Killtilane Rose hasn't been particularly consistent but her best form puts her in the frame for this and her allowance will help. Scots Gaelic disappointed on heavy going at Tramore on New Year's Day when strongly fancied and may be better when the ground dries out but Primroseandblue will have no problems with the conditions and has been running well enough in similar company to attract strong support here. However, SAINT GERVAIS is handed the vote as he looked a potentially useful performer when landing a couple of bumpers in the summer. He hasn't quite got the hang of jumping hurdles so far but will have received plenty of schooling after his fall at Gowran and this should be his day.
