The front-running Monte Cavallo hasn't done a lot wrong so far and made Red Inca fight all the way to the line at Ludlow last time. He may have to wait for the ground to dry up to get off the mark, however, and we are prepared to take him on with JOSEPH MERCER. Philip Hobbs' winning pointer is thought to be a nice prospect and will appreciate the likely strong pace on his debut under Rules. Wings Of Icarus has been a little disappointing so far over timber but should make the frame here with Chance Encounter likely to need this and Mighty Mambo possibly in need of a step up in distance.
