Dangan Daylight, who landed a point-to-point by a distance a year ago, will have come on for her debut at Downpatrick in December though that form hasn't worked out particularly well. After a fine run at Thurles in January, Quaquo De Flotte started favourite for a similar event at Down Royal but weakened very quickly at the second last. That was definitely not his form and looks sure to do better but the runner-up that day, BEEF TO THE HEELS, looks the one to beat. Gordon Elliott's charge came up against another useful performer in Maller Tree at Navan last time and his overall form gives him the edge. Bowfinger, a dual point-to-point winner, will probably do better when tackling fences.
