In depth

Verdict

It's a surprise to see VROUM VROUM MAG racing over hurdles for the first time since Auteuil in March of last year after which she's been unbeaten in six starts over fences, mostly in a canter. Her latest victory over Miss Dinamic here has been given a boost by the runner-up, who has won subsequently, and victory number seven looks on the cards. Mrs Mac Veale is a smart handicapper over timber who falls just short of Listed class. She followed her victory in a tough Naas handicap with a moderate effort when stepped up in grade at Punchestown but should have no problems reaching the frame here. Rock On The Moor has plenty of potential despite being well beaten when tackling Grade 1 company in the spring. She might have won a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse in January but for falling and should win her share of races this campaign. Kates Benefit created a surprise when beating the classy Whiteout at Killarney in May but has come nowhere near that level of form subsequently.
