Swantykay scored over hurdles at Cork in October before a very good run behind He Is Top Class over fences at Thurles and a big run from Venitien De Mai in the previous race will point to his chances. The Conker Club, a winner at Fairyhouse in April, remains better handicapped over hurdles despite a very good run at Gowran last time. Rolling Rocket had shown the odd sign of ability over fences but it was still a surprise he was able to win so convincingly at Naas last month. He's up 6lb but would be difficult to beat in that kind of form though HARD BOUGHT looks the one to be on. Three times a winner over hurdles earlier this year, he showed nothing in his early career over fences but has obviously improved massively and back on his 20lb lower chase rating he will be difficult to beat.
