Incursion, Kindling and Asaateel are three against the field in this competitive finale and the narrow vote is given to Incursion. The selection was a good third behind Establishment last time out and with the return to this trip sure to be in his favour he need only reproduce that effort to win off the same mark here. Kindling rates the main danger on his best form, but he was slightly disappointing when favourite behind Corker last time out so cannot be put forward with any confidence. However this softer surface may bring about some improvement. Asaateel is another worthy of respect on his latest fifth behind Toldo. That form has since been franked but he is rising in the weights and on that basis he looks opposable. Loves Travelling has dropped to a handy mark and shaped as if running into form when fourth last time out. He runs off the same mark here and should be noted in the market. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but, for the winner, we return to Incursion.
