Thorny Mandate gets the confident vote here with Gallego and Askwith rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Missie Baileys, and although he has a penalty for that win, he won with a little hand. From what looks a good draw he will be hard to beat. Gallego rates the main danger on his best form but he was disappointing off this mark behind La Bella Grande last time so cannot be put forward with any confidence. Askwith is another that could go well on his latest second behind Plenty Cried Wolf, but that was in a claimer and this looks tougher. Gitche Manito was a fair fourth behind Mont Saint Michel last time and is another worthy of respect despite top weight, but he has been done no favours by the draw. Sasso is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but, for the winner, we return to Thorny Mandate.
