Fayr Jag, Eisteddfod and Prince Charming are three against the field in this ultra-competitive Listed race and the nomination is given to Eisteddfod. The selection has won his last two races in good style and won with a little in hand when beating Presto Shinko last time out. Although he has the worst of the draw here he is taken to score as he is at guaranteed to act on the ground. Fayr Jag rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Beckermet, but all his best form is on very fast ground and for that reason he is opposed. Prince Charming was fourth in a Group 2 race when last seen behind Centifolia. This looks easier and he has definite place claims but he may just need the run after a 275-day absence. Indian Maiden is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she has a little to find on official BHB figures, and for that reason is passed over on this occasion. Of the remainder, Talbot Avenue has a good draw and will make a bold bid to make all but for the winner we return to Eisteddfod who is in the form of his life.
