POWERALLIED won this in 2016 and also landed a better race here in September. He was beaten three-parts-of-a-length by Tanasoq when runner-up at Ayr last Month and is 8lb better off with Paul Midgley's charge, who is seeking a four-timer but looks up against it after going up 7lb for landing the Epsom Dash. Confessional last won a race on this track just under a year ago when 4lb higher but was behind the selection in September though the presence of Jamie Gormley in the saddle gives him a realistic chance of turning the tables at the revised weights. Bosham has won three times on the all-weather this year and is best on artificial surfaces but he's 11lb lower on Turf so has to be respected. The three-year-old Wirral Girl hasn't been the most consistent but there was nothing much wrong with her reappearance at Nottingham and there could be more to come.
