Yet another difficult handicap for the getting out stakes with many holding chances on the book. Chapel Royale is still well-handicapped on his best form and managed to overcome a poor draw to finish second on his last visit to Chester. The promise of that run was turned into a win for today's rider at Beverley last time out. Only for Gold is a ten pound better horse at this track but has not been given the best of draws. Celtic Mill, on the other hand, has been performing creditably of late elsewhere and should appreciate the ground. He seems in relatively good heart and had Parting Shot well behind on a recent race at Beverley. The draw of sixteen is however, a major negative. A tentative Teamalk nod is given at big odds to Lion's Domane. Ian Semple's charge did finish behind Chapel Royale last time out but he is well drawn and if forcing tactics are to be employed today, this previous course and distance winner is perfectly boxed in stall three to dictate the pace.
