A competitive race in which a good draw and a quick start will be essential. Rewayaat looks to have these and is chosen ahead of Shank on Fourteen and Fast Heart. Rewayaat has only had the three starts and has had plenty of training troubles to boot. She was reportedly sick after chasing home the useful Catstar at Leicester but showed no ill effects when landing a useful looking maiden at Yarmouth. She can only improve. Shank on Fourteen faced a difficult task earlier in the season when facing Majestic Missile over this trip. There is nothing of that caliber in this race but have connections gone to the well once too often? Fast Heart ran a very promising race at Haydock Park and has been given a lofty billing by the trainer. He gave away plenty of ground at York on his last start before sticking on well close home. He certainly will be winning before the end of the season. Borzoi Maestro has done his connections proud but the handicapper looks to have got his measure. Bella Boy Zee seems to go well when given breaks between races and has Chester specialist, Franny Norton aboard. Marysienka has been described as something of a non-stayer in the past. Interestingly, Darryll Holland has been booked (Pat Dobbs was given as the rider at the five-day stage) and there is every chance that this sharp track could suit if she gets infront. Having considered the options, it looks difficult to go against the progressive Rewayaat.
