Adversity, Ramaad and Transfer are the trio for the shortlist in the finale, and the confident vote is given to Ramaad. The selection is a progressive type and although he will find life tough now that he moves into handicap company, his form does look rock solid and he has a good low draw. Adversity was a beaten favourite last time at Sandown in a competitive handicap, but he was hampered at a key stage in that race and the run is best ignored. Prior to that he had run well from a wide draw here, and the draw has been kinder today so he is a definite contender. Transfer is another with a decent draw, Andrew Balding has his string in good form and he is worth a market check on his handicap debut. Mick Channon's Seeking Star looks opposable from stall 11, and we will stick with Ramaad as the bet.
