Temple Place, Little Jimbob and Torrens make most appeal in this claimer and course specialist Torrens is forwarded as the pick. The selection reserves his best form for this venue and he has won here three times. He has a good draw and if he is fit enough to do himself justice on his seasonal reappearance he can run a big race. Temple Place has also got winning form here and he returns to the level after a spell over hurdles. He failed to come out of the stalls on his last visit here and he does have his quirks, but he has to be respected. Little Jimbob arrives here in good form and his trainer Richard Fahey won this race last year. He has the worst of the draw though today, while Michael Bell's Gold Prospect has a good draw and is another worthy of a mention. Torrens looks the value call though and gets our vote.
