    Verdict

    Just four runners turn up for this conditions race and with Godolphin's two-year-olds going so well this season we marginally prefer the chances of ATLANTIS STAR over Quarrel leaving the exposed looking Footstepsofspring third best. The boys in blue's handler Saeed Bin Suroor has about a 30% strike rate with his youngsters this term and the selection added to the record with an easy victory in a Pontefract maiden on debut. He should come on from that run, as his stablemates tend to do, so he might just prove too good again. The selection will have a strong challenge from fellow first time out winner Quarrel, who landed his maiden at Ascot. The form has been well advertised by the third placed animal going on to score and more is expected this time. Footstepsofspring is the most experienced of these and probably would have to find some improvement to get in front this time while Swiss Cross was solid on debut but is in need of huge progress to get on top.
