Neither of the course and distance winners, Dream Maker and Sylvia Pankhurst, look particularly well handicapped on recent form and Smart Daisy K was well beaten in third over 5f here last time. Lastchancelucas should improve on only his third start of the year but if grabbing the rail from his low draw may inadvertently provide a good lead for PURCELL. Andrew Balding's charge would have finished closer than third if not for hanging left at Ascot last time but that shouldn't be so much of a problem at this track and he gets the nod.
