        Verdict

        The New Marwan held off a strong challenge to score over track and trip a week ago and can go close again if that effort hasn’t taken its toll. ANGELS LANDING finished third in the latter contest but had an easier race when staying on strongly from the back of the field and she gets another chance with Harry Davies’ 5lb allowance in her favour. Precision Storm beat Greek Flame by only a neck at Wolverhampton while Golden Melody won here last autumn though came up short in a couple of outings at the track earlier this year.
