Verdict

KEY BID was not beaten far over 1m6f before scoring over a shorter trip here last month. Charlie Appleby’s charge is fancied to stay this longer trip and get the better of On Fire, a runner-up over 2m on fast ground at Thirsk a fortnight ago. Arty Campbell was placed over today’s trip at Chepstow on a couple of occasions last month and is preferred to Perfect Summer while Isharah and Suegioo were both well beaten in the same race at York last time and incredibly, the latter’s 2014 victory in the Chester Cup remains his only win on Turf in 42 attempts so far.
