A close-up fifth in the Coventry at Ascot, Aqabah was something of a disappointment in the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket last time when finishing behind fifth-placed Zaaki. De Bruyne Horse has posted a couple of below par efforts since landing a Listed race in France last month and preference is for stable companion TIGRE DU TERRE. The latter was beaten less than a length in a Listed contest at Salisbury three weeks ago and Ryan Moore’s presence suggests further progress is expected today. Tip Two Win never looked like catching the winner when runner-up over 6f in pattern company at Ripon and the remainder have even more to find.
