      Verdict

      A wide open handicap rounds off the card and there is very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Aahgowangowan, Linda Green and Dorn Dancer and the vote is given to Aahgowangowan. The selection has shown improved form since being scanned in foal and she was a fair fourth behind Safranine last time out. She was caught close home that day and this easier track will suit, so from a good draw she will be hard to beat. Linda Green would be the main danger on the pick of her form but all her best efforts have come on a softer surface and she is passed over for that reason. Dorn Dancer is another worthy of respect on his latest third behind Blue Tomato. That form has since been franked but he has yet to win over this trip. Vandova has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but he is hard to win with. Highland Cascade is from a yard in form and is worth a look in the market but for the winner we return to Aahgowangowan who has plenty of ticks in the right boxes.
