In depth

Verdict

Stotsfold gets the confident vote here with Flying Clarets and Hill of Almhuim rating the main dangers. The selection won with plenty in hand last time out when beating Faith And Reason. Granted he has a penalty for that win but he looks a progressive type and under his optimum conditions he will be hard to beat. Flying Clarets rates the main danger as he was an unlucky in running fourth behind Mistress Twister last time. He runs off the same mark here and he should be closely watched in the market. Hill of Almhuim is another that could go well on his latest third behind Urban Tiger but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and is opposed for that reason. Of the remainder, Nihal is from a yard in form but looks weighted up to his best. Gamesters Lady will appreciate the return to this shorter trip and is another with place claims but she would be suited by more cut in the ground and with this in mind for the winner we return to the unexposed Stotsfold.
