Another open affair in which many have chance on their best form but the main protagonists appear to be Oldenway, Fast Foil and Frontier and the selection is Oldenway. The gelding from the Richard Fahey yard is a course and distance winner and a reproduction of his latest second behind Billy Bathwick would make him hard to beat. Fast Foil is another in fine fore but she gave the impression that the handicapper had caught up with her when second behind Wondrous Joy last time out. Frontier won well at Windsor last time out when defeating Barking Mad but she has been done no favours by her wide draw on this tight track. Of the remainder Kelpie and Market Avenue are from yards in form but they need to improve on there latest efforts to defeat the selection Oldenway.
