MUWALLA was beginning to regain some enthusiasm towards the business end at Ripon last time and on his second start since joining James Bethell he might be good enough to land this open handicap at a price. Good ground or faster suits the son of Bahri, who has slipped to a very attractive handicap mark of just 68 and can strike. Hamilton winner Tamarillo Grove remains on the same mark here and is entitled to get competitive, though he clearly did not scare the handicapper off with that run. The Caped Crusader is 4lb higher than his Ripon win and he should be right there when it matters if handling this sharp track. Elmfield Giant is weighted to get involved if he can get home over this far on his first try. Child Of Our Time might find her own stamina fully tested and Muwalla is a sporting suggestion.
