        Verdict

        Bookmark won a maiden handicap easily at Pontefract a week ago and is due to be raised by more than today’s 6lb penalty. But she meets much tougher opposition in this including Goodwood third Mr Excellency and Epsom runner-up Fast Steps. Qaasid was beaten less than a length over track and trip in June and has switched yards since but a chance is taken on FARHAN. The latter missed out by only a neck at Sandown last month and looks up to winning off his current mark on that form.
