      Verdict

      Futurity Stakes entry LUMINOUS LIGHT overcame his inexperience to make all over a mile at Goodwood on his debut. He should have the measure of the other penalised winners with normal progress. Spacer won over 7f on soft going at Haydock and can also go well but Red Power’s form has tapered off since scoring over 6f at Ayr back in June. Artaois will likely finish closer for an in-form yard while the newcomer Adjourn is related to four winners and is entered in the Royal Lodge.
