Portrush Storm was impressive when winning at Carlisle recently and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to stop him, however this track may not play to his strengths and so preference instead is for Sinbad The Sailor ahead of Seeking The Star. John Hills took this race last year with Yes One and he has a solid chance again with Sinbad The Sailor. His recent second reads fairly well in the context of this race and the step up in trip around here should hold no fears. Kiho was well-backed last time but came up just short; his turn should not be far away and a mark of 67 looks fair. Always Certain has had plenty of chances, whilst Novestar looks high enough in the weights at present. Seeking The Star steps up in trip for the first time and if he gets the trip (stamina on father's side in pedigree), then he shouldn't be too far away. At a price Daraiym needs a watch in the betting, however it is Sinbad The Sailor who is fancied to make waves.
