In depth

Verdict

Best One comes here in top form and from a fair draw he must be respected, however Mambo Spirit is back on a decent mark and is fancied to add to his course and distance success; Cape Royal and I Confess look two lively runners at fair prices. The selection represents a trainer who is in fair form and the horse is now 2lbs lower than his highest winning mark. His draw of 7 is fair if not exceptional and he should get competitive. I Confess is an interesting runner as he drop back in trip; his bet form in Ireland was over this sort of trip so it looks a logical move and he needs a market check. Bluebok and Cape Royal both have plenty of pace and give trainer Milton Bradley a strong hand, whilst Dodaa and Misaro have been holding their form well and both have nice racing weights. Jilly Why has had excuses on his last two runs but is better than those runs and has claims, although his style of racing around here might cause some problems. Old-timers Fire Up The Band and Caribbean Coral give this field a strong look, and it is with some trepidation that we select Mambo Spirit.
