Sahara Silk, Sweet Namibia and Belle Encore are the three for the shortlist here and the vote goes to the progressive Sahara Silk. Belle Encore has shown promise in her races to date, especially when chasing home Abide at Salisbury. She disappointed at Lingfield on the Polytrack last time but can bounce back to her Salisbury form on this surface. She can go well at a nice price and may be an each-way consideration. Sweet Namibia won well on her seasonal debut at Folkestone and was upped in grade on her subsequent starts at Haydock and Newbury where she was outclassed. She too will go well in this company. Sahara Silk though has outstanding claims. She sprang a surprise at Beverley but proved that was no fluke when following up at Musselburgh. She was beaten narrowly by the useful Dizzy in the Head at Hamilton most recently and that is solid form. Sahara Silk can resume winning ways here.
