Mullaad, Past Tender and Amadeus Wolf are the three to consider here and the progressive Mullaud is taken to follow up his success last time. Past Tender hails from a yard whose two-year-olds are flying and demands the utmost respect. He won well at Warwick on his debut despite drifting in the market and was given a considerable step up in class at Sandown last time. He was well beaten but wasn¿t disgraced and will find this contest a little easier although it is still a good test. Amadeus Wolf will be a popular choice here after following up an expected win on his debut at Ayr with a blinding effort to be a close third in the Coventry at Royal Ascot. However, Red Clubs let the form down at Newmarket this week and he may go off at a false price. Mullaud though is taken to cope with a rise in grade. He surprised connections when finishing a neck second on his debut at Beverley and then beat a number of previous winners when scoring at Newcastle. He would have won by further but was denied a clear run and Mullaud is the selection.
